The application instances used by institutions — reachable on their own subdomains — are hosted separately from this site, by LWS (Ligne Web Services), in France. Student records therefore do not sit with the host of this site.

The country is established from the RIPE registry, which records the registration of the address range rather than the address of the data centre. A head of institution who needs the exact physical location, for a contractual clause or a formality, obtains it on written request. The detail is on the Security page.

Intellectual property

Everything that makes up this site — text, guides, documentation, code, interfaces, illustrations, product screenshots, together with the KLASSCI name and logo — is protected by copyright and trade mark law. Unless stated otherwise, these are the property of African Digit Consulting.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation or exploitation, in whole or in part, without prior written permission is prohibited.

Two uses are expressly permitted, with no prior request:

  • Short quotation from an article or documentation page, provided the author is credited and a link points to the original page.
  • Internal use by a client institution of the documentation and guides, to train its own staff.

The names and logos of institutions cited on this site belong to their respective owners and are used with their agreement, as references.

Third-party content and outbound links

The guides published here cite regulatory texts and external sources as links. Those links exist so readers can check for themselves what we assert. We control neither the content, nor the availability, nor the privacy practices of the sites they lead to.
